Liverpool are reported to be targeting to bring Havard Nordtveit from Borussia Monchengladbach to Anfield in the summer. The 25 year old midfielder is someone Jurgen Klopp is considering to include in his squad for the next season.
Nordveit’s contract end in the summer and will be available on a free transfer if he refuses to renew his contract as reported by the Mirror.
The Norway international is an ex-Arsenal player who was with the Gunners for four years. During his tenure he was mostly on loan and did not manage to make any appearance for the Gunners first team. In the Bundesliga he has played 26 games this season and scored 4 goals and one assist. Given that he is a midfielder and a squad player, it is quite impressive but many may not be sure if he is what Liverpool needs right now.
