The £32.5 million transfer to one of the biggest clubs in the world should have been enough for Christian Benteke to elevate his game to the next level. This was his chance to become a superstar that the fans desperately wanted after the departure of a certain Uruguayan.

But, at this moment, the Belgian has proved very little to justify his big money move to Liverpool. Though he has scored some match winning goals and that exquisite strike against Man United, Benteke has been inconsistent and more is needed from the Reds frontman.

It seems he doesn’t fit into Klopp’s style of play and provides little pressing that is needed from the front. There are strong rumours circulating the rounds that Jurgen Klopp may try to offload the striker in summer as he no longer fits into his style of play.

So let’s take a look at the possible destinations that may reignite Christian Benteke’s career:

1. Arsenal:

The gunners are in need of a frontman to complement and to fight for a place with Olivier Giroud. Though this season has not been up to the mark for the towering striker, there is no denying of the fact that he is supremely talented. If this happens, Benteke will get a chance to prove himself at the highest level again.

2. Any other Premier League mid-table team:

This road has been taken by many strikers like Romelu Lukaku and Andy Carroll. This provides an opportunity to be the frontman and the best player of his team and to become a fan favorite. He will improve the likes of Stoke or Swansea by a mile. He needs to play regularly to maintain his place in the national team.

3. Chinese Super League:

The Chinese League has come into a lot of the prominence in the past year because of the amount of money that is being offered there. Many players have gone that route and Benteke was a target for the Chinese clubs in January. These might be a smart move financially.
