Mario Gotze is considered to be one of the finest talents of the millennium and some German experts have also compared him to the likes of Messi. He is just 23 and already has four titles under his belt. Gotze was a key figure in the success of Dortmund under the mentorship of Jurgen Klopp which ultimately got him a transfer to Bayern Munich. However, Gotze has struggled to prove his worth with the German giants and has not managed to find a place in the starting 11 in many games. A summer move from Germany looks pretty much on the cards and here are the three reasons why Mario Gotze would be a perfect fit for Liverpool.

History with Klopp

Gotze was part of the side that made Klopp a hero at Borussia Dortmund. He was very instrumental as a playmaker alongside the likes of Marco Reus and Robert Lewandowski. The German prodigy has had a fantastic work relationship with Klopp and has admitted to the fact that working under Klopp helped him a lot in his career. The manager also shares similar sentiments and given the fact that the nurturing love Klopp has to offer, Gotze might just have a revival in his career at Anfield.

Attacking Freedom

The 23-year-old is known to have an attacking flair and is a natural playmaker. Gotze is a player who needs a lot of creative freedom upfront and alongside the likes of Muller, Robben and Ribery, things did not click well at Bayern. However, that is not the case at Anfield. Gotze might just get the complete freedom he needs to show his game and the trio of Coutinho, Firmino and Gotze might become a lethal one.

A Tenacious Dribbler

Mario Gotze is known to have a physical side and Liverpool are certainly in need of attackers who can show that tenacity while dribbling (just like Luis Suarez).  Liverpool do need someone with that physical strength up front and Gotze might be the man to do that.
