With many Liverpool players  are out to represent their countries in international friendlies, Jurgen Klopp and the remaining players have got some much-needed break. This is the first time since arriving in October, Klopp has been given so much time for training and getting to his players well.

It has been a hell of a ride under the enigmatic German with games coming thick and fast. There have been some highs and some lows under him but one thing is for certain, Liverpool

have taken steps in the forward direction under him. He has given much-needed hope to the fans and will turn them from doubters to believers in some time.

Klopp has come under criticism because of his substitutions in the last game and his berating of Christian Benteke at the final whistle. The German faces his toughest task in his career to succeed at Merseyside and a lot of work still needs to be done for the glory days to arrive again at Anfield.

With Borussia Dortmund looming and some big games in the league coming up, Klopp will have no time to relax during the international break. Let’s take a look at the three things that Klopp needs to look at in the break :

1. Sending fringe players on loan :

Liverpool have many players in the squad that will benefit from a short loan spell. The likes of Tiago Illori, Kevin Stewart, Connor Randall needs to be sent out to the lower leagues to gain experience and get some much-needed minutes under their belt. If they succeed, they can be of use for the German next season.

2. Clearing out the dead log :

Spending time with the squad players will give an idea about the quality that is present at his disposal and making a decision about their future can’t be done any later. This is the only week where his opinion will be formed while the next two months will again have loads of matches for the reds. The youngsters and the likes of Jose Enrique and Tiago Illori have one of the last chance to impress Klopp.

3. Making Europa League the no.1 priority :

Mathematically top four is still within the reach for Liverpool but realistically it seems the Europa League is the final getaway for the reds to make a last ditch entry into the next season’s Champions League. The reds are just five games away from winning the trophy and making it the no. 1 priority is the need of the hour.
