According to talkSport, Liverpool have shown interest in German youngster Niklas Sule. The 20-year youngster is one of the top prospects in Germany and has been a regular player for his club this season.
Playing for Hoffenheim he has made 28 appearances and has attracted interest from a number of Bundesliga clubs. It is understood that while several clubs are following him, Liverpool are the ones to approach him first.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is familiar with the player from his days in Borussia Dortmund and apparently has asked the club to approach the player. The German club Hoffenheim has not yet replied and the Reds are awaiting a response with the hope that they can complete a deal for the Germany under-21 player.
Liverpool will get sizable transfer kitty and may purchase several players in the summer as they look to challenge for the title in the upcoming season under Jurgen Klopp.
