Every day new players are linked to Liverpool with the summer transfer window approaching soon. This is Jurgen Klopp’s first summer window and it is one of the most important transfer period in Liverpool’s recent history. All the rivals are going to splash the cash this time round and Liverpool have to buy smartly if they want to be competing for the elite spots.

Jurgen Klopp is known for developing young players and FSG likes to buy young players with a reselling value. One such rumour that has surfaced in the past couple of days is that Liverpool are doing a double swoop on Arsenal players, Wojciech Szczesny and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in summer.

The duo are priced at £40 million and it is speculated that Klopp is eager on working with the England youngster. The Ox, as he is fondly called, has loads of potential but he has not been able to fulfil his talent after many chances given at Arsenal.

The 22-year-old has played on the right and behind the striker too but has failed to prove his worth during his time at the Emirates. He has also been unlucky with injuries but there is no denying the fact that the England international has what it takes to perform at the highest level. Jurgen Klopp can unlock the talent in him and Liverpool can provide a perfect stage for him to showcase his talent and prove his worth.

Szczesny’s case is the same. The Polish has bags of talent but his highly inconsistent. He’ll win a match one day and make a howler the other game. But there is a good chance for him to revive his career at the top level of English football under the guidance of Klopp.

Both the players have the quality to become world class and if they arrive, it will be a good business for both Liverpool and Arsenal. If it is anyone that can develop and make a player world class, it is Jurgen Klopp and the duo would not lose such an opportunity if it arises.
