Liverpool have been in need of a strong defensive midfielder who can hold possession and also provide support to the back four with interceptions and tackles. Granit Xhaka has the abilities of a brilliant defensive midfielder and his style of play might suit under Jurgen Klopp’s tactics. If the Reds can get their hands on this talented Swiss midfielder, they can have a stronger hold in the middle of the park and this can help answer their defensive woes to a certain extent.
