Fichajes has claimed that Marseille are preparing a move for Real Betis goalkeeper Antonio Adan. The news comes as a wake up call for Jurgen Klopp as it was also reported that Liverpool were keeping an eye on the goalkeeper for a summer move.
Liverpool’s current no. 1 Simon Mignolet has signed a long-term contract a month ago but his inconsistent displays is said to be running out Klopp’s patience. The German manager is thus in the market for a goalkeeper and has identified Antonio Adan as one of the choices.
Liverpool are also linked with want-away Barcelona star Marc-Andre Ter Stegen and if they miss out on Adan, they will have to ensure that Ter Stegen deal goes through. However the Barcelona goalkeeper is thought to be the first choice and the Reds are apparently willing to double his salary to lure him to Anfield in the summer.
