Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has claimed that he has been playing with an injury almost throughout the season as per Mirror. We need hail the player’s dedication and devotion to the club.
Henderson was injured in a game against Bournemouth in August and since then was sidelined for three months. However, the player has been playing since then but as per the reports he has been playing with the injury. He feels he is getting better now, even though he is not 100%.
It has been four months since his injury but he getting better only recently probably indicates a serious injury or negligence from the player’s part. While we admire his work ethics but for club’s sake he should take rest and get completely healed.
He has said that he has been playing through the injury because he wanted to play football and not be on the bench. We can surely expect better and bigger things from Captain from now on.
