Sport has claimed that Barcelona are following a Liverpool youngster Cameron Brannagan who made his senior team debut this season. The 19 year old received the break during Brendan Rogers’ tenure and renewed his contract with Liverpool under Jurgen Klopp.

While both the manager thinks very highly of him, the Barcelona scouts have shortlisted him to make him a future superstar. The scout is reportedly following a list of ten players that include Paulo Dybala, Ousmane Dembele and has also included the name of Brannagan in that list.

The England under-20 international made his Liverpool debut against Bordeaux in Europa league and has featured several times this season. Klopp will rebuild Liverpool in order to challenge for the title next season and it will be interesting to see if any of the youngster makes the cut to the senior team. Liverpool is said be getting ready for heavy summer spending and if that happens then youngsters such as Brannagan may be left with no choice but to leave for greener pastures.
