Jurgen Klopp is planning a makeover for Liverpool in the summer and with a massive war chest that he has been handed the names of the players have been popping up for the German to buy.
The latest name to be linked with Liverpool is Antonio Rudiger from AS Roma. The 23 year old German player is said to have impressed Klopp and is currently at AS Roma but originally a player for Stuttgart. According to the Sun, Chelsea are also interested in the player and this could cause a transfer battle between the two clubs.
Klopp has a huge task in his hand as he prepares to challenge for the title next season. One major cog in the machine that he needs to clean up is the defense and the German manager has identified Rudiger to be a suitable player to fuel their defensive ambition next season. Skrtel’s future is in doubt and Sakho is facing a ban for substance abuse. This leaves Klopp no choice but to look for reinforcement.
