Liverpool are keen to land the 23 year old Kevin Volland from Hoffenheim in the summer. The player has a contract till 2019 but according to the Germand media outlet Sport Bild, the player has a release clause of £14.1m and Liverpool can land him for just that amount.
The player has been a key factor behind Hoffenheim’s relegation survival story and Borussia Dortmund, Wolfsburg and RB Leipzig are also interested in his signature. Jurgen Klopp however, is using a more diplomatic route as there are reports of Roberto Firmino helping the German to get to Volland. While this may seem like cheating a bit but everything is fair in love and transfer market.
The Reds have two incoming names already confirmed in Joel Matip and Marko Grujic and now we could hear an official announcement anytime about Kevin Volland as well. The player has scored 8 goals in provided 10 assists in 32 appearances for Hoffenheim.
