Liverpool are reported to be interested in signing Marc Bartra in the summer according to Sport. The Spanish media has reported that the Catalan club are willing to let go of Batra because Luis Enrique wants to sign Shkodran Mustafi from Valencia in the transfer window.
Jurgen Klopp is said to have already made moves for the player. Bartra has made just 13 appearances for Barcelona as they claimed the title and prepare to win Copa Del Rey. With limited game time, the player is also said to be interested in leaving the club for more game time.
With a release clause of just £9 million, the deal will not be too expensive for Liverpool especially considering that the Reds will let several of their defenders leave in the summer. However West Ham United could provide complication as the Hammers are also interested in the right back. Nonetheless, if Liverpool beats Sevilla in the Europa League then the lure of Champions League could make him choose Anfield easily.
