Liverpool are hopeful that their  £20 million for Mario Gotze will be enough to complete the deal for Bayern Munich player in the summer. LiverpoolEcho believes the German to be Jurgen Klopp’s top summer target.

Mario Gotze is unsettled at Bayern Munich and has been strongly linked with a move away. While the future of the midfielder is far from certain given the lack of game time the German is likely to look for opportunity elsewhere in the summer. The Liverpool manager has previously worked with Gotze and is believed to be able to bring out the best of him.

The Liverpool players are also keen to see Gotze joining their team as several players have made pleas to the World Cup winner. Gotze reached the peak of his popularity during his time at Borussia Dortmund under Klopp and will look to do the same at Liverpool.
