Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli was at AC Milan for the entire season last year. Now the player is set to return to Liverpool, but according to Fichajes, the player will be axed by the Reds upon return.
The player has found it difficult to settle at Anfield after moving there in 2014. Lack of game time and form has seen him fall down the pecking order at Liverpool before going on a season long loan to AC Milan. Balotelli is keen to stay at Milan, however, he has scored just one goal for the Rossoneri this season. Due to this, Milan is unlikely to sign him on a permanent deal.
On the other hand, there are reports that Espanyol may be interested in the player and will be willing to sign him if the deal is favorable for the Spanish club. The player will also look for regular game time and may favor a move to Spain.
