Rafa Silva of Braga has been heavily linked with Manchester United but reports have surfaced about Liverpool’s interest as well and according to Portuguese news outlet ZeroZero, the Reds are set to beat Red Devils to the player’s signature.
Silva has scored 8 goals for Braga this season and his work rate and form has not gone unnoticed by Liverpool. The player has also earlier expressed his interest to move to Premier League and with clubs like Liverpool and Manchester United in the corner, a move is very likely to happen in the summer.
Matter of complication may arrive as the player’s agent Jorge Mendes is close to Old Trafford officials and also Jose Mourinho may be heading towards Manchester United next season. Mourinho is also represented by Mendes, who owns 50% of Silva’s economic rights. In spite of this Reds will hope to complete the deal with the charm of Jurgen Klopp at their side.
