As Liverpool begins their preparation to rebuild their squad it was inevitable that some of the players will not be able to survive the transfer season at Anfield. One player who has been associated with Liverpool for a considerable amount of time and is almost sure to leave is Martin Skrtel.
The player, currently 31 years old, has been in Liverpool since 2007. However, given his age and form has fallen out of favor with Jurgen Klopp. Now, after 9 years of service and losing his starting spot in the team the player’s agent has informed that he is 90% sure to leave Anfield in the summer.
Besiktas are interested in the Slovakian international and are said to be in the process of preparing a bid. He has made 319 appearances for Liverpool and scored 18 goals for Liverpool in his 9 year long career with the club. Now, as per his agent Karol Csonto, we may see him in Besiktas jersey next season.
