Having made just 22 appearances last season the player is not happy as he has fallen down the pecking order and at the age 31 he would hope that he plays as much as he can as he nears the end of his career. Turkish giants Besiktas is said to be interested in Skrtel and has been linked with a move for a few weeks now. However the shocking thing is that recently promoted Middlesbrough is reported to be preparing a shock bid for the Martin Skrtel.
The Boros are going to play in the Premier League after finishing second in the Championship. Now they are offering Skrtel an opportunity to stay in the Premier League and Liverpool £6 million for the player.
