Swift Move And Decision: How Liverpool Managed To Pull Of This Signing

Loris Karius recently joined Liverpool and has become the third signing of the summer. Liverpool’s move in the market has surprised many with the Merseyside club completing three signings so far.

Jurgen Klopp has signed three players since his arrival and looks like the German manager is bent on returning Liverpool to the summit of the Premier League and has acted quickly. Speaking in an interview the goalkeeper has revealed that once a concrete offer came to him, he did not take a long time to decide. Liverpool apparently approached Karius at the end of the season and once the player took a look at Liverpool and how things work, the decision and the process were quick.

Speaking to SportBild, the player said:

“Then, actually, everything happened very quickly. The days before signing my contract, I had a good look at everything in Liverpool, the club and the environment. I was immediately convinced this would be the right and the next important step in my career.”

Liverpool has signed Marko Grujic and Joel Matip even before the last season had ended and now has completed the signing of a goalkeeper to compete with inconsistent Simon Mignolet. The signs are good as Liverpool looks to be plugging the gaps that has troubled them in the past.
