Three Premier League starts and twelve substitute appearances will never make a player happy at his current club. Taking advantage of this situation, Liverpool are said to be preparing to move in with a bid for Arsenal’s Kieran Gibbs.
The 26 year old has lost his starting spot since the rising of Nacho Monreal and the Gunners’ boss Arsene Wenger is said to be keen to make a deal for Gibbs as it is becoming likely that the player will leave this summer. Football Insider who originally reported this development after following Emanuele Guilianelli has also revealed that the Reds have made official contact with Gibbs’ representatives.
Usually we do not see a lot of business happening between the Premier League heavyweights such as Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester clubs and Chelsea, but if a deal can be reached for Gibbs then it may favor all three parties. Liverpool is desperate to solve their Moreno conundrum.
