After breaking the Serie A goals record and carrying a release clause of £70 million we were not really expecting Liverpool to make such a big statement as to sign Gonzalo Higuain.
However, in a shocking picture that is doing the rounds the player’s agent has been spotted beside Jurgen Klopp and now we cannot help but think if something is brewing underneath it all. The German manager and the player’s brother were spotted during the Argentina match and Klopp left the stadium as soon as the player was subbed.
Higuain has been one of the most prominent strikers last season, having scored 36 goals in 35 league games. This has helped Napoli come second behind Juventus and is set to play in the Champions League next season. While it is a little difficult to see how he would leave European football and choose Liverpool we have seen such things happening in the past. Ahem! Falcao.
