Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski has been linked with a move to Liverpool since a few days now and according to the reports from the Guardian ,the Reds are keen on bringing him to the Anfield this summer.
Currently playing for the Polish National Team as the captain of the Polish team in the Euro 2016, the player has 42 goals to his credit in 51 appearances for Bayern. Considered to be one of the most prolific strikers in the world, Lewandowski is one of the key and most important players for Munich.
Recent reports suggest that, the player may be set to reunite with his former manager Jurgen Klopp at the Reds, however, Liverpool will be facing strong competition from Manchester City, wherein Pep Guardiola is very much interested in signing the Polish goal machine.
Liverpool’s lack of Champions League football may act as a hindrance in the deal and further provides an advantage to City who have money as well as a Champions League spot for the next season.
