Liverpool’s Martin Skrtel is set to leave the Reds this summer, although his destination seems to be unclear as according to recent rumors the player is heading to Serie A Roma.
Earlier reports, however, stated that the player is heading to Turkey at Fenerbahce. According to the Express Skrtel has signed a three year deal with Roma and will be heading to the Serie A club in the summer at a fee of £5m.
The player joined the Reds in 2008 and has 252 appearances for the Reds, although he has only won one major tournament with the Reds i.e., League Cup in 2012. The Italian journalist Emanuele Giulianelli from Gazzetta dello Sport, through his social media account has reported that:
“Roma have reached an agreement for Skrtel. 3 years contract for the Slovak former Liverpool defender.”

With the player currently playing for Slovakia in the Euro 2016, player’s destination club once he leaves the Reds, is still uncertain and will be decided only after the Euro 2016 is over. However, as of now Roma seems like the player’s destination.
