The Reds have been linked with former Manchester City player Edin Dzeko, with a potential transfer move in cards and according to the recent reports, Roma have increased the player’s release clause and have added a hefty price tag on the player.
The earlier reports from Sky Sports states that Roma could be tempted to sell the player at around €19m [£15m] and the player is currently earning £140k-a-week. The player will surely be earning more than that if he moves to the Reds, however, he has often been questioned for his attitude and behavior.
At 30 years old, the striker’s style of play is not favorable for the kind of player the Reds need at the Anfield right now. Dzeko lacks speed and is far from mobile and also is not what one would call Daniel Sturridge-esque striker that Liverpool need for the next season.
