Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Hull City defender Andy Robertson this summer, after having failed in signing Leicester City’s Ben Chilwell.
The Reds made a £7 million bid for Chilwell, however Leicester City were not prepared to let go of the player and now the Reds are looking out to sign Robertson.
Reports from the Daily Record state that the Reds are now ready to sign the player in a £7.5m deal in which the player’s former club Dundee United to will be receiving £750,000 windfall as a result of the transfer.
The 22 year old player had a good season so far, however, he may be set to move to the Anfield this summer. The player created 56 chances for his team this season in 46 appearances. Further the Reds are said to be in the market for a left-back, and Robertson as a left back, will surely fit the bill for the Reds.
