Wales and Swansea City star Neil Taylor has urged Liverpool midfielder and Wales teammate Joe Allen to sign for Swansea in the current transfer window. The “Welsh Xavi” has found limited playing time under Jurgen Klopp and is keen on a move away from the club in search of the same. His former club Swansea have already had an £8 million bid rejected by the Anfield club. However, recent reports have claimed that they are willing to match Liverpool’s £10 million valuation for the 26 year old. Taylor was full of praises for Allen, even going on to claim that he does not get as much applause as he deserves and is one of the best midfielders in Europe.
Even Real Madrid superstar Gareth Bale voiced his appreciation for Allen saying that he is very vital to side’s fortunes at the Euro 2016. Allen has a single year left on his Liverpool contract and the club is willing to let him leave at a fee rather than fee. While West Brom West Ham and long time admirer Brendan Rodgers managed Celtic are interested in signing him, we believe the player would be more than happy to return to the Liberty Stadium.
