Who Is This 21-year Old Winger That Liverpool Are After? Everything You Need To Know

Along the years, a lot of money has been wasted at transfers by the reds which has not paid least dividends. Since the last year of Benitez to Rodgers, all have signed questionable players which were just wrong for the Club. From Joe Cole to Mario Balotelli, Liverpool have wasted millions but the expectations are high from Jurgen Klopp that he will deliver the goods and bring the club right back on track which he has been able to do in first eight months.

But his toughest test has arrived with the transfer period in which a lot is expected from him and the club to bring some much needed stability and experience to be in the running for top spots next season. The weak positions are being upgraded which is priced by the arrival of Loris Karius and Joel Matip. But one area which remains must to have some numbers and more options is on the wings as the reds had just Jordan Ibe as the traditional winger in the team. Along with Sadio Mane, the reds can afford an additional winger if Klopp decides to sell Ibe or Markovic. One name that has come up is Dinamo Zagreb’s attacker, Marko Pjaca

.

The 21 year old came into news for his brilliant performance against Spain this Euros for his national team, Croatia. He has been one of the best players for his national team and has been an integral part of Dinamo Zagreb’s title winning squad. His consistent performers have garnered attention from AC Milan and Juventus but also his agent has confirmed that there is an interest for him from English clubs.

Croatia is a country rich in producing technically brilliant players and Pjaca is no exception. European technicality and South American flair are a delightful combination and the 21 year old possesses the maturity to play at the highest level and also the skills to work his way out in tight spaces. He can play on both the wings but his favoured position is on the left from where he can cut on to his right foot and unleash his strong right foot. His finishing is composed and is never shy of trying some audacious attempts once in a while.

The youngster has tremendous work rate and looking at all his attributes, Pjaca looks like a typical Klopp player who can be a good signing for the reds if the asking price is met where the Croatian is valued at £16 million. Pjaca can provide competition in the squad and once he settles to life in England, he has all the talent in the world to succeed at wherever he may go.
