Liverpool’s highly rated youngster Sergi Canos is set to leave the Reds this summer due to wage disputes between the Club and the player and his representatives.

The 19 year old who has made his first team appearance for the first time against West Bromwich Albion on the final day of the season is reportedly demanding £10000 a week wage which the Reds are not willing to sanction.

The youngster is set to head to Bristol City, according to the Echo, who are ready to sign him in £2.5m deal.

The player enjoyed a successful season at Brentford during 2015-2016 campaign, however, it is obvious that his displays then was not enough for him to deserve a £10000 a week contract according to the club. Further, if Liverpool agree to pay him the demanded amount it will place him well above the other academy players and this will surely lead to discontentment in the young lots.
