Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel is set to leave the Reds having run out of favor under manager Jurgen Klopp. The 31 year old player was linked with a number of clubs so far which includes Turkish clubs Feberbahce, Besiktas and Italian club Napoli.
According to the recent reports from the Liverpool Echo, the Slovakian defender is now set to head to Turkish outfit Fenerbahce after Liverpool accepted their bid of £5.5m for the player’s move to the Turkish club.

Further, Paris Saint Germain player Gregory van der Wiel too will be following Skrtel to the Turkish outfit as confirmed by Fenerbahce president Aziz Yildrim.
The player moved to Liverpool in 2008 arriving from Zenit St-Petersburg in a deal worth around £6.5m and was the only player who has stayed at the Anfield in the current squad and also has another two years left on his contract. The player fell down the pecking order under Jurgen Klopp, with Kolo Toure, Dejan Lovren and Mamadou Sakho were preferred ahead of him.
