Klopp

Liverpool right at this very moment, are looking to bolster their squad and their manager Jürgen Klopp is doing what is expected from him. The German gaffer, who is considered as the perfect man for the Anfield job has already completed four signings and every single player is capable of battling for the first team squad.

Goalkeeper Loris Karius had an amazing season last term and many believe that he would replace the error prone Belgian shot stopper Simon Mignolet. Besides Karius, he has bought the German born Cameroonian international Joel Matip, who could easily break into the first team action and then the Senegalese sensation Sadio Mane, who is expected to replace Adam Lallana in the starting place.

It is understood that the manager is currently looking to add a central midfielder to the squad and earlier, it was reported that the Merseysiders were desperately trying to sign Polish international, Piotr Zielinski. The 22-year-old, who spent his last couple of years with the Italian side Empoli from Udinese has become one of the hottest prospects in the transfer window.

Klopp launched a £11.7m bid for the player, but reports from BBC have now confirmed that Udinese have rejected the offer even after player made it clear that he does not want to join Napoli. He still has two years left in his contract with Udinese, but his future at the club is stuck somewhere in between.

We give you the three alternatives for Liverpool to consider signing this summer:

  1. Mahmoud Dahoud-

The 20-year-old Monchengladbach midfielder is reported to be a priority target for Liverpool and if the clubs make an offer, the German team might consider a bid. Dahoud started his career with
Borussia Mönchengladbach II and due to his wonderful performances, he was promoted to the senior side. Dahoud played 32 games for his club last season, and scored five goals and bagged eight assists.

Dahoud is considered as one of the best young talents in the squad and his major weapon is his ability to read the game. With Can supporting the back four as a defensive midfielder, Dahoud will have the much needed space in the middle through which, he can do a lot of damage alongside Coutinho and Mane.

  1. Adrian Rabiot-

The 21-year-old PSG midfielder had a tough time last season as his playing time was cut short due to the Renaissance of Matuidi in the middle. He made just 24 appearances in the Ligue 1 last season and many media houses are claiming that he might move away from Parc Des Princes in order to get regular game time.

Rabiot is one of the most versatile players on the field and that allows him to play at various positions on the field including defensive midfield, central midfield and attacking midfield.

  1. Isco-

Since joining Real Madrid from Malaga in 2013, the 24-year-old Spanish international has been struggling to find a stable footing the team’s starting XI. Due to the excellence of Modric, Kroos and Casemiro, Isco has been struggling on the bench. The first team choice at Malaga, Isco might consider a move away from Santiago Bernabeu if regular game time is offered.

As we stated earlier, Liverpool are currently in the market to sign a central midfieler, hence, Isco fits the bill. The Spanish international has been regularly touted as a potential target for fellow English side Arsenal, but nothing has been materialized yet. He made 31 appearances for the Los Blacos last season with the majority of games as a substitute. We all are aware of the fact that Spanish midfielders are considered as one of the most creative players on the field, and with the players like Coutinho, Mane and Firmino to support, Isco could take the Premier League by storm.
