The Reds have rated Joe Allen at £14million and further have already rejected an offer of £8m from Swansea City. Joe Allen is set to leave the Reds this summer so as to get more game time as he ran out of favor at the Reds under German manager Jurgen Klopp. A popular figure in the Liverpool dressing-room, there have been no talks with Allen about a new deal since earlier in the year.
Further into the summer, Liverpool are looking to sign Axel Witsel from Zenit Petersburg, however according to reports, Ronald Koeman is also a big fan of the player and thus Reds will be battling it out with Everton for the player’s signature.
The Belgium international has made it clear he intends to leave Zenit St. Petersburg this summer. And last month he indicated he is keen on a move to England or Italy.
“I want to try a new experience in a different League, a new challenge,” he told Italian outlet La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Liverpool are facing some goalkeeper issue at the Anfield, having extended Simon Mignolet’s contract further, and having Adam Bogdan in the squad, however, bringing Loris Karius into the squad has put the former two player’s futures at the Anfield uncertain. And in addition to the same, the Reds were further linked with Antonio Adan’s move to the Reds, although the player has ruled out a move to the England.
