Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is looking to strengthen his squad at the Anfield for his first full season in charge of the Reds. Liverpool have already brought in four new players in the squad this summer and if reports are to be believed then there are more to come (or go).

According to German publication Bild, Klopp is looking to bring in his former player Jakub Blaszczykowski into the squad from Borussia Dortmund. Blaszczykowski played the starring role during the European Championship for Poland this year. He spent last season on a loan deal with Fiorentina scoring two goals in total of 18 appearances. He has played 252 times for Dortmund since joining in 2007, scoring 32 goals from midfield.

According to the reports from the Telegraph there are six clubs lining Joe Allen this summer. Swansea City, Southampton, Everton and La Liga side Sevilla are all looking to sign the player who found himself behind Emre Can at the Reds midfield last season.

Swansea have already failed with one bid to re-sign Allen and were quoted £11m for the 26-year-old, despite the fact he has just 12 months remaining on his contract.

Liverpool are yet to speak to Allen about his future, although it is believed Klopp will be prepared to let him go if he can secure the signing of Mahmoud Dahoud from Borussia Monchengladbach.

Martin Skrtel

Further, Liverpool player Martin Skrtel is set to leave the Anfield after 8 years at the Merseyside. Skrtel is set to complete a £5.5m move to Fenerbahce and only the personal terms are left to be agreed upon for the player’s move to the Turkish side.

Mihat Halis from Skrtel’s management company, Stars and Friends, does not expect personal terms to be an issue and expects the transfer to be completed soon.

“The clubs have agreed,” he said. “We just have some personal details to sort out, it is nothing that won’t be sorted,” he said.

“It is going ahead.”
