Liverpool are reportedly interested in bringing in Ragnar Klavan from Augsburg at around £4.2m, according to the reports from Sky Sports.
Martin Skrtel has left the Reds for Fenerbahce while Kolo Toure too has been released from the club. Further Joel Matip has arrived at the Merseyside from Schalke.
Klavan is an Estonian International and his purchase by the Reds is considered as Klopp providing a cover for his team in the back up department and the player will not be a regular first team feature for Liverpool.
If reports are to be believed then Klavan’s move to the Anfield will be finalized within this week. The player will be signing a two year deal at the Anfield with an option of a third year if the Reds deem it fit.
The player who has been named Estonia’s player of the year three times will be a good addition to the Reds this summer, hence boosting the defenses of the Mersersiders.
