Liverpool have already brought in seven new players in the squad this summer and reports suggest that the Reds manager is in the market for his eight player, a left-back who will be able to give competition to Alberto Moreno for the starting position.

Following the same, Liverpool are linked with PSV Eindhoven player Jetro Willems, although the rumors seem to start from the player’s side rather than the Merseysiders, as the player recently posted a photoshopped image of himself signing for the Liverpool. Further, while speaking to Fox Sports the 22 year old revealed interest from many clubs for his move to their respective clubs and as of now he is weighing his options.

“There are a number of clubs that have been in touch,” Willems told Fox Sports, speaking after PSV’s 1-0 win over Feyenoord in the Johan Cruyff Shield on Sunday.

“We are looking at my options. I don’t know whether I will be gone by the time the Eredivisie season has started, but things will be alright, I am not overly worried about that.

“I am focused on PSV for now. We won another trophy today, silverware just keeps coming.”

Willem made 15 appearances for the Eindhoven last season, finding the net twice and further providing four assists after PSV were crowned Champions for the second consecutive year.

If the Reds are interested in signing the player then seems like the time when Klopp needs to work fast and go ahead and seal the deal.
