Liverpool striker Christian Benteke is set to head out of the club this summer, and the last few days saw the player linked with Turkish side Besiktas, however if reports are to be believed then the Crystal Palace are set to meet Liverpool’s price tag of the player.
According to the reports from the Daily Mirror, Palace are ready to meet Liverpool’s demand of £32m for the player. Palace are now willing to match the player’s £120000 a week salary as well.
Turkish side Besiktas too were keen on signing the player however, the player’s price tag turned into a big block in the deal for the Turkish outfit. Further, Sunderland and Everton too were interested in signing the player, albeit nothing other than interest materialized from the clubs.
The player moved to the Anfield last summer in a deal worth £32.5m from Aston Villa, however, the Belgian failed to impress at the Reds, finding the net only 10 times in 42 appearances for the Merseysiders.
