Liverpool youngster Taiwo Awoniyi is set to head out of the Anfield as he is close to completing a move to Dutch side Nec Nijmegen on a loan deal.
The player joined the Reds last summer from the Imperial Soccer Academy in Nigeria, however, immediately after bringing him to the Anfield the player was sent on loan to German side FSV Frankfurt, wherein he made 14 appearances for the club.
The player had been heavily linked with a move out of the Reds summer and now according to reports
from Dutch media the youngster is in Netherlands so as to complete his move to NEC Nijmegen.Awoniyi watched the Dutch side play from the stands on Sunday and is set to undergo a medical after the clubs, that is Liverpool and NEC Nijmegen, reach an agreement. The latter are keen on bringing in Awoniyi after having sold Christian Santos due to financial issues.
