Liverpool have been linked with Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic with a potential transfer move in cards along with Everton, West Hamm and Roma. However, the Reds are set for a disappointment as the Bernabeu boss Zinedine Zidane is not willing to sell the player.
Kovacic moved to Real last summer from Inter Milan, however, he has struggled in his first season at the Bernabeu with the number of players in the midfield further he had to adjust with the low tempo and methodical pace of the Spanish game which he found tough to adapt.
According to reports from the Daily Star, the 22-year-old has been interested in a move to Premier League which would fit his fast tempo and his ability to drive from box to box.
Although there are many clubs looking out for the player, Real have refused to let go of him as they believe that the youngster can become one of the best midfielders in Europe.
