Lucas Leiva is set to stay at the Anfield after the Reds manager Jurgen Klopp stopped his move to Galatasaray at the last moment.
The player is in the last year of his contract at the Anfield and although a few weeks back the player was set for a move out of the Merseyside; the Brazilian midfielder will now be staying put at Liverpool.
To a recent tweet by a Liverpool Echo reporter James Pearce, the player took it upon himself to reply.

To which the Brazilian replied:
@JamesPearceEcho; can you have more responsibility when you involve my name?
You putting me against the fans for something I’ve nothing to do
According to the report tweeted about by Pearce, manager Jurgen Klopp is keen on keeping Leiva in the squad, hence stopping his move to the Turkish club at the last moment, insisting that he needed the Brazilian midfielder to stay at the Anfield.
Further the player can still push for a move out of the Merseyside till the end of the transfer window, and until he does that, he will be seeing the completion of his contract.
