Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli has been on the lookout to join a club this summer after being informed of not being in manager Jurgen Klopp’s plans for the 2016-2017 campaign.
The Reds have deemed the player surplus to requirement and the player’s representatives have been on the looking for a club which would want to sign the player this summer. And now according to reports, FC Sion are looking to sign the player.
FC Sion are keen on signing the player this summer and have reportedly opened talks with the Reds regarding the deal to sign the Italian striker. The player has been linked with a number of clubs in the last few days and although there were many interested in signing the player so far nothing came off the link up.
The player is desperate for a move out of the Anfield and now he may end up heading to Scion on a loan deal. The former AC Milan forward joined the Reds in a £16million deal in August 2014.
Since his arrival at the club the 26-year-old has failed to live up to expectations, scoring just four goals in 28 appearances at the Merseyside outfit after being brought in to replace the departing Luis Suarez.
The former Inter Milan goal-scorer has returned to Melwood to train under Jurgen Klopp ahead of the new Premier League season but is now behind Daniel Sturridge, Divock Origi,Roberto Firmino and Danny Ings in the pecking order.
