A hard-fought battle was contested last night at Anfield between the two English giants and both, Liverpool and Manchester United, ensured that neither of them came out as a winner.
Liverpool keeper, Loris Karius, was selected ahead of Mignolet for the night and was expected to match the tenacity of his counterpart, David De Gea. The former Mainz man had his nervous moments and Klopp was far from impressed by him.
On the other side of the pitch, David De Gea managed to keep his post clean even after some vicious shots from Liverpool. Unarguably, the former Atletico Madrid star was the man of the game as he showed his pure class by keeping the likes of Philippe Coutinho and Emre Can out.
Well, it is very rare to see Liverpool fans praising Manchester United’s lads, but it seemed like they were very much impressed by the class of the Spaniard and here is how twitter exploded:
God how I wish we had De Gea in the net #LFC

Any other goalie in the league and we’re most likely winning 2-0. De Gea is incredibly good. #LFC
