Whatever Chelsea can do; Liverpool can do better. The Blues went to the top of the Premier League on Saturday with a 5-0 win over Everton, Liverpool did one better as they hammered six past Watford to move to the summit of the league.
The Reds were irresistible right from the start and went ahead thanks to a headed goal from Sadio Mane. It was 2-0 a few minutes later thanks to a strike from Philippe Coutinho and it was three before the end of the half as Emre Can headed in.
The second half started pretty much in a similar manner with Roberto Firmino tapping in an Adam Lallana cross. It was five when Firmino turned provider and helped Mane scored his second and Liverpool’s fifth.
The Reds did concede a sloppy goal with Daryl Janmaat scoring but Georginio Wijnaldum scored his first goal for Liverpool in time added on.
Liverpool’s incredible performance was the talk of Twitter and here are some of the best tweets after the game.

We leave you with this final tweet as One Liverpool fan points of the tranfer fees paid by the Reds to bring in Coutinho. The Brazilian has 4 goals and 4 assists to his name in the league.
We paid £8.5m for Coutinho whilst United paid £89m for a dabbing Youssouf Mulumbu. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
