Liverpool v Hull City - Premier LeagueThe Premier League has been incredible so far this season and Liverpool have been brilliant. Jurgen Klopp’s side are on top of the table for the first time since 2014 and it has been a great performance all around.

Every Liverpool player has done their bit to help the side but the attack has been brilliant in the campaign as well. The Reds have created a few records already and seem set to smash a few more before the end of the season.

With 11 games done, here are five stats that will put Liverpool’s start to the Premier League in perspective.

#1 Most goals, passes, shots per game and most chances created

The Reds have scored 30 goals in the Premier League this season, which is more than any other club. They also have the highest number of chances created with 170. Klopp’s men have also played 6,597 passes in their games and have registered 7.8 shots on target per game, all of which are highest in the league.

#2 Firmino, Lallana, Mane and Coutinho have scored 21 goals and 19 assists

Many have spoken about Philippe Coutinho and how well he has done but it is a team game and the rest of the attack has been brilliant all equal. Sadio Mane, Adam Lallana and Roberto Firmino have been just as great.

Firmino has scored six and assisted four this season, Mane has six and assisted in four and Lallana has five assists with three goals this campaign. Coutinho has been the main man as he has scored six goals and six assists. The best attack has seen most of the work shared between a number of players, which is great.

#3 Liverpool average 2.86 goals a game

The Reds have scored a mammoth 40 goals in all competitions this season, which comes out to 2.86 goals a game. The Merseyside club have scored four or more goals in six games this season. That is a staggering stat to be seen and the Reds scored six past Watford at the weekend. They could be in to score a few more come the end of the season and you would not be against them scoring even more than six this season.

#4 Roberto Firmino has created more chances from open play than any other player

Roberto Firmino being one of the best Liverpool players, that statement might not have been music to many ears at the start of the season but the Brazilian has been turning heads with his performances.

He isn’t just known for his goal scoring or ability to make runs but also his creativity and the former Hoffenheim star has 28 chances from open play which is the highest in the league!

The Brazilian might want to increase the number of assists he has but no one is complaining at the moment.

#5 Henderson has more touches, passes, tackles and covered more distance than any other player

Another surprising stat, not many would have expected the Liverpool captain to thrive in his new role as a holding midfielder but Henderson has been one of the best midfielders in the Premier League.

The former Sunderland man has the highest number of passes with 904 this season, he also has covered the most distance with 131 km so far. He also has the most number of tackles this season with 47 and also has recorded an incredible 1078 touches for the Reds.

All these numbers will come to naught if Liverpool do not convert this brilliant start into a trophy this season and everyone will hope that the Reds do win the Premier League for the first time ever.
