Jonah TahJurgen Klopp is planning a huge spending spree at Liverpool, if we are to believe Sport Bild, a German outlet. The Reds are currently on top of the Premier League with 27 points after 12 games and their German manager wants to keep it that way till the end of the season.

The Merseyside club are reportedly looking to sign two players from the Bundesliga and one each from Russia and Portugal. The players listed out by Bild are Jonathan Tah, Mahmoud Dahoud, Sardar Azmoun and Hector Herrera.

All four players have been linked with a move to Anfield throughout the season but this is probably the first time a tabloid has taken out a feature on each player.

Help needed in defence for Liverpool

The Reds might have the best attack in the Premier League but they have only kept two clean-sheets in the entire campaign. That could be a worry for Klopp and that could be the reason why the Reds are targeting the 20-year-old defender Tah.

sportbildThe German is one of the rising stars in the Bundesliga and could be tempted to join Klopp’s revolution at Liverpool. Joel Matip already joined the Reds on a free at the start of the season and we could see a cut-price deal for Tah joining from Bayer Leverkusen as well.

The need for stability at the back is another reason why Klopp is moving for Herrera as well. The Mexican can play in a defensive role in midfield and would provide a lot of cover for the defence. The Reds aren’t the only team targeting the 26-year-old Porto star but they are leading the race according to many outlets.

Mahmoud Dahoud is another player who has been consistently linked with a move to Anfield. And even though the club have stated that Dahoud is not for sale that could be a ploy to get a better deal for the highly rated 20-year-old.

Star attackers for Liverpool

The Reds’ attack could be accentuated by a move for Sardar Azmoun, even though the Iranian hasn’t been all that great for his Russian club Rostov. Azmoun does have a great record scoring in internationals and the 21-year-old could be the answer for the exit of Sadio Mane for the African cup of Nations in January.

The one thing that strikes out from all the transfers is that Klopp is looking at youth products. Only Herrera is above the age of 25 while the others are close to 20, which fits the FSG policy. Hopefully, the Reds can pull off a couple of deals as they look to win the Premier League for the first time.
