moussa-dembeleLiverpool could be looking at one of Europe’s most promising strikers as an option for the start of next season. Moussa Dembele has had a great season at Celtic this season and the former Fulham striker is high on the priority list of the Reds and Arsenal, according to the Daily Star.

The 20-year-old played his youth football at Paris-Saint Germain but he made a name for himself this season under Brendan Rodgers. The French striker has scored 17 times in just 30 games for the Hoops and is certainly one to have a great career based on his current performance.

The amount that the papers are suggesting is nearly £20m to sign the striker from the Scottish club. Manchester City are also rumoured to be interested in the Frenchman and could use Patrick Roberts as part of the deal.

The young English winger has also been doing great at Celtic Park and they could send him on another loan deal at the club in a bid to bring Dembele back to the Premier League.

Another bright spark at Anfield

The Reds are in search of better striking options than Daniel Sturridge it seems. The Englishman has not been able to break into the XI of Jurgen Klopp’s side and is expected to leave the club at the start of next season.

Dembele would probably get a lot of playing time at Liverpool too and he was expected to move to Tottenham at the start of the current season but the deal was called off at the last moment. The 20-year-old is talented enough to play in the Premier League and even spent a couple of seasons in the Championship with Fulham.

Manchester City though could have the greatest bargaining tool for the player. With Patrick Roberts on loan, another season for the Englishman at Celtic would work out for both sides.

The 20-year-old is known for his dribbling and finishing ability and certainly would be great for the Reds. Divock Origi is the one striker who has been fit for most of the season and has been on fire recently for the side.

Danny Ings was the other striker expected to make a breakthrough this season but injury cut short his season, once again. Dembele might have a number of clubs to choose from in the summer but he should look at only those which give him a chance of continuing his progression.

It wouldn’t be a surprise to see him sign up for a club and then return to loan at Celtic, where he can continue plundering goals.
