Liverpool got back to winning ways and in turn boosted their hopes of finishing in the top four after beating Arsenal 3-1. The Reds started brightly and scored thanks to Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane before Arsenal got a goal back from Danny Welbeck.
The Reds wrapped up the three points thanks to a late goal from Georginio Wijnaldum and ensured the ghosts of losing to Leicester City were exorcised, at least for the night. Arsenal are now in real danger of losing out on the top four while Liverpool leaped them and moved into the top three.
It was a great day for the Reds and a horrid one for the Gunners and we have the best reactions from Twitter from the entertaining game at Anfield.

Word of praise for Emre Can, not just for a much improved performance but also for some great moments of snide. Liverpool need more of that.

Klavan is so underrated among Liverpool fans. He’s a brilliant backup centre back and has performed on a high level all season. #lfc

Liverpool usually do well against the smaller teams like Spurs and Arsenal. It’s the big clubs like Hull City who they struggle against.
