Marko Grujic is slowly but surely making his comeback to the Liverpool first team. The former Red Star Belgrade midfielder was one of Jurgen Klopp’s first signings as the Liverpool manager but injuries have played their part in the Serbian not making many appearances for the first team.
The 20-year-old was in action against Chelsea in an U23 game and was extremely impressive. The midfielder didn’t get on the score sheet but he did help the side get a penalty which Harry Wilson tucked away to score his 25th of the season.
Grujic was at the heart of all the great moments in the game as he put up many tricks, flicks and fancy passes. Another player that made a great impact was Trent Alexander-Arnold, as the defender was named as the man of the match.
All eyes were on Grujic as he displayed just what he can do in the heart of the midfield and with an impressive performance in the 2-0 win over Chelsea, fans went berserk on Twitter praising the youngster.
