It is a sad day in the history of Liverpool Football Club. One of the greatest people to have represented the club and one of the most loyal and charismatic figures to have worked in the club has passed away at the age of 83. The name is Ronnie Moran.
13 League Championships, 4 European Cups, 2 UEFA Cups, 5 FA Cups, 5 League Cups and 49 years at Liverpool FC. It would be hard to accept the fact that he is no more. Nature can be cruel sometimes and this time, the cruelty has been weaved upon the Liverpool faithful.
Ronnie Moran was one of the most influential figures in the Liverpool history. Having spent his entire playing career at the club and then becoming a member of the coaching staff after hanging up his boots, he was the club’s longest-serving employee when he finally retired in 1998.
The fans were extremely disappointed by the news and it was evident when they took the social media to express their grief.
Here, we share a few tweets of people, including some big names in world football.
