Liverpool did miss a trick by not signing any players in the January window, something that has come back to bite them in the second half of the season. The Reds were the closest challengers to Chelsea in January but have slipped down the table and are in danger of missing out on the Champions League spots as well.
Jurgen Klopp knows he has to add quality to his side in the summer and it seems he has a list of players that are his priority signings. Anfield HQ conducted an interview with Guardian’s Andy Hunter and the pundit had his say about the three targets that Klopp has set his sights on.
Ryan Sessegnon, the highly rated English left-back from Fulham, Virgil van Dijk of Southampton and Naby Keita of Bundesliga side RB Leipzig are the players linked with a move to Anfield.
There are a number of other players that could make it to the Premier League side but Liverpool fans had their say about the list and if they needed better players or not at the club.

@Scouser_Les_LFC @knoller2 @AnfieldHQ If we don’t qualify for the CL I can see us really downgrading on the quality of our targets.

@BossTha01 @AnfieldHQ I look at squad now and see lack of experienced, winning leaders. No doubt the targets have talent.

It seems most fans want players in the side who have a winning mentality but that all will come to nothing if the Reds don’t make it to the Champions League.
