Isco

Real Madrid star Isco has once again been linked with Liverpool as the rumours keep going about the Spaniard’s future after this season. A lot has been said and a lot has been written already about Isco’s next move but there is no official news yet, from either the player’s side nor from Real Madrid.

Liverpool along with Juventus are believed to be chasing him and reports from Spain claimed that Madrid would want €50 million for the attacker.

However, it was recently said that the player is close to agreeing to a contract extension with Madrid, but now, reports claim that Isco is still being chased by clubs who are trying their best to stop him from signing a contract with Real and tempt him away from the Spanish capital.

Liverpool are believed to be one of the clubs who are trying hard to lure the Spanish midfielder away from Real Madrid. Isco’s contract expires in the summer of 2018 and Zidane wants him to agree on a new deal running until 2022.

Liverpool’s attack has been mighty impressive this season and they have scored an outstanding 70 goals so far in the league, which is the best in the English top-flight division right now. Strengthening their attack further exhibits some extraordinary ambition from the Reds and it shows that they are planning with Champions League participation in mind. However, any potential big-name signing would depend on the team’s qualification for the next season’s Champions League.

Isco has scored 10 goals and 7 assists in 36 appearances this season and is currently in great form. He has found limited game time under Zidane but he still very much remains a part of the French manager’s plans at Santiago Bernabeu.

Tempting him out of Real Madrid won’t be an easy task and Klopp will have a lot of convincing to do if he really intends to bring the versatile midfielder to Anfield for the 2017/18 season.
