Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp does give his youth players a chance or two to impress. The German manager is known for his belief in academy products and the Reds seem to have unearthed another talent in Rhian Brewster.
The England U17 star is quickly rising up the ranks at the club but at the start of this season, he wasn’t really expected to do much. He was playing in the U18s but he quickly outgrew that level before slotting in with the U23s and this is where he has shown his ability.
He has played alongside other players who have made their debuts for the first team of the Reds this season such as Ben Woodburn and Trent Alexander-Arnold and the Englishman was given a chance to be part of the matchday squad against Crystal Palace recently, a game that Liverpool lost.
Brewster, though, was on fire recently as he scored twice for the England U17 side and helped the team defeat Norway. Not a bad way to hopefully make a mark on the Liverpool manager.
It certainly caught the attention of another Liverpool player, Adam Lallana and the England international took to Twitter to congratulate Brewster on a fine performance.

Lallana has recently made it back to full fitness and should start in the next match against Southampton at Anfield.
It is only a matter of time before Brewster does get a few minutes for the first team of Liverpool. There is a major possibility that the Englishman will play a part in next season’s preseason, something we have seen with the likes of Ovie Ejaria, at the start of this season.
However, should the Reds wrap up the top-four spot before the last game of the season, the Englishman could play a part in the final game against Middlesbrough. And maybe, like Woodburn bag a goal that puts him in the history books as well.
